West Africa Ebola HPA Emergency Response 2014
Funding under this investment provides support to the Humanitarian Partnership Agreement (HPA) Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) to respond to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. The HPA is a group of six Australian NGOs. The partnership is the primary mechanism for humanitarian funding for Australian NGOs and enables a rapid and coordinated response in an emergency. This funding will be used to support frontline medical assistance, provide essential public health support and train health workers. The total value of this initiative is $2.5 million expensed during the 2014-15 financial year.
