The programme aims to reach over 400,000 people in Liberia. Its purpose is to increase child survival in Liberia through increased sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and improve hygiene practices. It aims to contribute towards the achievement of the MDG 4, by reducing infant deaths from water-borne diseases, and MDG 7, by increasing access to water and sanitation, leading to a more healthy population by 2015.
