Forum Syd Liberia Inception Phase

The proposed contribution 'Forum Syd Civil Society Support to Liberia 2016-2017' is a request to the Embassy from Forum Syd Liberia for SEK 2 013 377 to fund a 12 month inception phase in Liberia. The purpose of the inception phase is to contribute to a strengthened civil society in Liberia with increased democratic influence and marginalized women and men increasingly exercising their rights more successfully. The inception phase is intended to assist Forum Syd deliver a long term proposal based on relevant, well-structured and efficient programme design based on the contextual needs of the Liberian civil society including poor and marginalized people. During this inception phase, Forum Syd plans to undertake a number of desk studies and consultative meetings with civil society organizations and CBOs in Liberia.

The intended outcome of the development intervention is: a long-term proposal based on relevant, well-structured and efficient programme design based on the contextual needs of Liberian civil society including poor and marginalized people.
