Programme Development Fund - LDSP RESULTS

The embassy has since 2012 had an annual contribution for programand method development, with the aim of strengthening the preparation, monitoring and evaluation of interventions and thereby contribute to increased competence in development cooperation with Liberia. A number of preparatory and supportive individual assignments are financed from the fund, such as background studies of a new partner, of a new area or of a new method. Assignments such as evaluations or followup related studies, audits or reviews can also be financed from the fund. The assignments shall be relevant to the objectives in the strategy or equivalent and be consistent with the governing documents for aid decided by the Government as well as with Sida's operational plan. The assignments/components should not exceed a period of six months and shall be limited in their design, as well as being linked to clear results. Each assignment will; (i) be determined in a separate decision (ii) have a separate component in this contribution (PUM) (iii) be dealt with by the officer in charge, both regarding the draft Decision / contract / ToR, etc., the financial transactions and the performance monitoring.
