ICRC appeal 2013
Sida support the ICRC to improve the health situation of vulnerable people, providing protection to adults and children in conflict situations, ensure access to water - and sanitation in vulnerable communities, access to detainees around the world, and to continue the dissemination of information and compliance with IHL.
ICRCs övergripande mål är att skydda liv och mänsklig värdighet i väpnade konflikter samt andra situationer av våld samt att förse människor med humanitär assistans. ICRC ska förhindra mänskligt lidande genom att främja och stärka den humanitära rätten och de humanitära principerna.
