Legal Professional Development and Anti-Corruption (LPAC) Project

(Liberia): The Legal Professional Development and Anti-Corruption (LPAC) Project is a five-year justice sector strengthening program that addresses two key challenges related to Liberia's development in the area of rule of law, namely: 1) Increasing the capacity of Liberia's legal institutions to produce an increased number of high quality judges, magistrates, prosecutors, public defenders, lawyers, and other legal professionals to administer an effective legal system; and 2) Reducing corruption. Specifically, with FY 2017 funds, LPAC will strengthen the human and institutional capacity of the James A. A. Pierre Judicial Institute, Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, Liberia Legal Information Institute, Liberia National Bar Association, and the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission.
