Accelerated Quality Education (AQE)

(Liberia): The Accelerated Quality Education for Liberia Children (AQE) will use FY 2017 funds to provide education opportunities for out-of-school children in Liberia, giving them the opportunity to pursue onward education, training or employment. Technical assistance includes capacity-building training to strengthen County & District Education Officers (CEOs & DEOs) monitoring skills, their ability to report, analyze, and utilize Accelerating Learning Program (ALP) monitoring data in education planning, budgeting, and reporting reliable data on ALPs to the national Ministry of Education (MoE). The activity will also work with the MoE to improve the Education Management Information System (EMIS) at the county and district levels and train county and district level education officers' abilities to access, analyze, and use this data for the development of county education budgets.
