Rehabilitation of Kampala-Jinja Road
The objectives of the project were to: i) protect the capital already invested and to increase the service life of this vital road which passes through the counties of Kyadondo and Kaygwe with well developed agricultural industries and is also part of the Trans-African Highway connection between Mombasa (Kenya) and Lagos (Nigeria); ii) reduce maintenance and vehicle operating costs; and iii) reduce travel time which is a saving on capital (better utilization of vehicles).
