Urban Power Rehabilitation Project

The objective of the project is to rehabilitate the power distribution systems of the Kampala, Jinja, Tororo and Masindi areas. A secondary objective of the project is to reduce power losses in the urban distribution system by about 15 MW. The electricity thus saved would be utilized to connect about 9,900 new consumers in these towns.
