Ext. to Owen Falls Generating Station
The proposed Owen Falls extension by 5x40 MW generating units (although only two will be installed in the first stage), will provide urgently needed least cost capacity addition to Uganda's power generation and transmission facilities. It will continue and build upon the on-going sub-sector rehabilitation project that aims to foster economic development by providing adequate and reliable electric energy to satisfy all the productive sectors of the economy.
