Learning on Gender and Conflict in Africa (LOGiCA)

The ultimate outcome of the program for learning on Gender and Conflict in Africa (LOGiCA), is the integration of issues related to the specific needs of young ex-combatants and child soldiers in the implementation of activities related to demobilization and reintegration (D & R) in the Great Lakes region. Taking into account the special situation and needs of women, girls and vulnerable groups (child soldiers) in the context of conflict and post-conflict is to be integrated effectively to ensure equitable access to benefits and delivery operations of D & R. In addition to the component-based program management and its trust fund, the project is divided into three components: technical assistance and supervision of regional demobilization and reintegration; program for vulnerable groups; knowledge, awareness and communication production.
