Contributing to the control of Malaria in Uganda

To improve malaria control in Uganda by distributing 1.5 million Insecticide treated bed nets to hospitals, expanding household spraying and training of health workers on better use of malaria kits and treatment of fever in children. This will prevent at least 13,845 child deaths between 2013 and 2016 and contribute to Uganda’s progress towards Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) 4, 5 and 6.
