EPOPA Phase III
The EPOPA project initiated in the mid-1990s, as a 'Development through Trade' concept was designed to work directly with exporters to develop orgnic products for export. The main benefit of the programme was for rural producer communities to increase their export volume and value while at the same time exposing the country's agric sector to sustainable farming techniques.
