Advocacy for Better Health
(Uganda): .Advocacy for Better Health will support advocacy efforts, targeting a range of HIV, health, and education issues in 35 districts funded from the Global Health Program and PEPFAR accounts. In FY 2017, the activity will support local civil society engagement in: 1) increasing citizens' demand for quality services; 2) holding government accountable for its commitment to transparency, and accountability in service delivery; 3) decreasing stigma and discrimination and 4) promoting sustainability of efforts for improved the quality and availability of essential health, HIV, and social services. By strengthening citizens' voices through civil society organizations, the activity will promote country ownership of social sector reforms......
