Institutional Support Grant to Uganda Electricity Board
The project aims to strengthen UEB's operations and prepare it for the challenge of the on-going massive rehabilitation in Uganda. Specifically, the project aims at (a) strengthening the institutional capacity of UEB by providing technical assistants, and procurement of vehicles and office/computing equipment; (b) on-the-job training of local UEB personnel and (c) identifying cost-effective power projects through a system planning and loss reduction study.
