Extractives Global Programmatic Support
The Extractives Global Programmatic Support Multi Donor Trust Fund (EGPS MDTF) is intended to improve the ability and capacity of current and emerging resource-rich developing nations in using their oil, gas and mineral resources sustainably and transparently for poverty alleviation, shared prosperity, economic diversification, and sustainable economic growth. EGPS MDTF replaces existing World Bank initiatives in the extractives sector including: the Extractive Industries Technical Assistance Fund (EI-TAF) and the Extractives Industry Transparency Initiative Multi-Donor Trust Fund (EITI MDTF). The total value of this investment is $11.0 million over 4 years, starting 2014-15.
