Feed the Future Producer Organizations Activity
(Uganda): .The overall objective of the Feed the Future Producer Organizations (PO) activity is to strengthen the governance, management, service delivery and local-level advocacy capacities of producer organizations. The activity supports secondary POs to be critical change leaders in equipping member POs with the skills, knowledge and linkages needed to mature and develop into sustainable businesses that meet the demands of their membership. The goal is to help establish durable and enduring institutions that are able to plan, mobilize resources, and deliver services that meet the evolving needs of their members. The expected results include: (1) Increased involvement of POs in business-oriented activities along the values chains; and (2) Improved PO governance and management structures that efficiently provide services to the members...
