Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in East Central Uganda (RHITES-EC)
(Uganda): .The purpose of this activity is to support the design and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated investment in regional health, HIV/AIDS, and nutrition assistance in east central Uganda. The activity will focus on using a district-based integrated package of quality health, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, and child development services to contribute to significant, measurable, and sustainable impact on the beneficiary population in 11 districts. ..FY 2017 funds will contribute to five key results areas:.Increased availability of and accessibility to health services;Improved quality of health services;Increased availability of resources for public sector health services;Improved organization and management of service delivery; andIncreased adoption of healthy behaviors and positive child development practices by communities in focus areas and target population groups. ..
