Strategic Information Technical Support Project (SITES)
(Uganda): .SITES is the lead monitoring and evaluation (M&E) mechanism for the health strategy. It supports M&E as well as strategic information (SI) technical assistance and systems strengthening to USAID, implementing partners, the Government of Uganda and supported health facilities and community sites. The mechanism will consolidate several SI activities currently implemented by multiple partners, including 1) an Annual Health Facility Assessment; 2) monitoring health services outcomes using the Lot Quality Assurance Sampling methodology; 3) data quality improvement and reporting for health programs; 4) strengthening M&E capacity at national, district, health facility and community levels; and 5) supporting the country-led Health Management Information Systems at all levels. These activities are aimed at increasing the use of data for evidence-based decision-making at the various levels..
