Multilateral climate change mitigation
Funding under this initiative supports the multilateral climate change financing budget measure and provides funding to multilateral organisations to conduct climate change mitigation activities, specifically: Global Green Growth Institute; Partnership for Market Readiness; Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Program; and UNDP Low-Emission Capacity Building Programme. This forms part of Australia's fast-start climate change finance package. The total value of this multi-country initiative is $43.2 million over two years, starting 2011-12.
